Last Year as a Teenager

Hello! 

On Sunday, I was looking for a photo of one of my favourite memories with my family, unfortunately I haven't been able to find it but I have found some of me as a young child and these photos got me thinking.

 I'm writing this post before my 19th birthday but it will have been and gone by the time you have read this. I'm just in shock that it's my last year as a teen as I actually do remember that 6th birthday party in the first picture as if it was yesterday and that's scary. I'm scared and excited to see what this last year as a teen will bring me as it also brings a lot of change.

The biggest, most scary but most exciting change will be moving away to university in just over 2 months. And for a girl who has lived in the same village all her life and the same house for about 17 years of that sheltered life, this is a massive thing. Of course, I'll be working my way to becoming a teacher in this next year and this is something I've wanted for the majority of my life and I'm glad I working towards making 6 year old Jodie proud of 19 year old Jodie.
